During the month of May, there is a Maths challenge open to all pupils. In order to enter the competition, they need to find a way to make the number 8. They can use any method they like using any mathematical concepts (e.g. fractions, decimals, percentages, BODMAS etc.). There is an entry box located in the hall, where children are free to enter by writing their method on a piece of paper – don’t forget to include your name and class. A winning entry will be announced at the end of term. The challenge is below:
