Reception have been getting ready for Sunday, learning all about Lunar New Year and the Year of the Rabbit!

Year 6 Art Unit

This week, year 6 printed their final outcomes for our dazzle ships art unit. We learnt about how Norman Wilkinson used dazzle camouflage in WWI and were inspired by Edward Wadsworth’s ‘Dazzle Ship in Dry Dock’ print to create our own.

Save the Children Charity- Christmas Jumper Day

Year 6 Trip to The Imperial War Museum

On Tuesday, Year 6 went to the Imperial War Museum. We were split into groups and made our own mini documentaries. We each had a go as the presenter, director and camera operator.

Pollocks Toy Museum Workshop

Last Thursday, children in Year 1 enjoyed a visit from The Toy Museum. Children were able to learn about, touch and play with toys old and new.

School Choir Performance

On Friday evening, members of the school choir performed at the Greenwich Do The Right Thing Awards Ceremony at Woolwich Town Hall. The children enjoyed singing in this prestigious venue and represented the school extremely well.

Harvest Assembly
