Puffins’ Special Visitors

Puffin class have been busy taking care of some special visitors, 18 caterpillars! They have been learning about life cycles as part of their topic, ‘Changes’ and we have watched them grow at a rapid rate, eating all their food! We observed them slowly make their way to the top of their tubs and form chrysalises.Today the children watched as Miss Mulligan carefully attached each chrysalis to the side of the butterfly net. We will let you know when they emerge as beautiful butterflies! Watch this space.
