The National Theatre visited to perform a version of Shakespeare’s A Winter’s Tale. The incredible experience drew faces of wonder and amazement from our year 5 and 6 children, and took us on a journey filled with a range of emotions. Each year, we have been been able to provide this experience for the children in year 6 and have professionals work with them to inspire their writing through performance skills and drama. It has been incredible to see the work produced by children who have been inspired by the National Theatre and Shakespeare.
